Nepal

Nepal is a country with one of the greatest altitude variations in the world. The lowest altitude is about 60 meters from sea level whereas the highest is the summit of Mount Everest, 8848m. The great variation of altitude has resulted in great climatic and biological diversity. We can find climatic conditions from very cold to tropical hot in a width of just 160 km. Nepal haws a wide range of flora and fauna and many species are the endemic from here. This is one of the best places for birding in the whole world. The whopping 900 species (10% of the world's total bird's species, more than Europe and North America combined) makes Nepal a paradise for birding. The concentration of birds is high in spite of the small territory because there are different kinds of dwelling places for birds here such as wetlands, lakes, tropical and subtropical forests, coniferous and Himalayan valleys.

On Nov 2018, it was a family trip to Nepal . Places explored in the trips are
Pokhra,
Kathmandu,
Janakpur &
Chitwan National Park.

It was a good experience of Birding & Adventure at Pokhra,Nepal. Seen & Photograph some species like Osprey , Eurasian Tree Sparrow , Red capped redstart , Blue-throated Barbet , Plumbeous water redstart , Black Hooded Oriole, Wire-tailed-swallow, Blue Fronted Redstart, Spangled drongo. One must visit sure having interest in adventure sports like Paragliding, river rafting & Annapurna Heli Ride is famous over there.

On 15th Nov 2018, Morning visit to Chitwan National Park. A Jungle safari with Family was enjoyable with some records shots of species like Crested Serpent Eagle, Greater Yellownape Woodpecker , Lesser Adjutant , Grey capped-pgymy Woodpecker , Stork Billed KingFisher,Greater Flameback Woodpecker . One must visit Core Zone Safari cant make it beacuse of Family tried Buffer Zone.
